Went shopping this aft, Go to pay and Declined :eek:

Off I go to the Bank and all thier systems are offline (coop bank), They send me to thier new partners branch, Britannia, They're down too.

Cant withdraw any cash, Cant check balance or sod all. :mad:

The women in Britannia said LINK has issues and its affecting all Banks..

Is it?

According to the BBC site Lloyds TSB is having issues doesn't mention anything about the LINK network.

I can't login to the co-op - I haven't tried using the card today though.

Used my co-op bank card at 12.15, 12.30, 1.30 and all seemed to be fine then. They were planning some online maintenance but not until Sunday so it might just be you!

There was a whole load of people in the Banks (coop and britannia) that couldnt do anything account related.

edit: try using it now pal, I used mine at about 12:30, it worked fine. Come 2:15pm it didnt work at all.

no problems logging into Halifax here, although it could only show me part of my online statement :S

Lloyds let me log in online, but it had a message that due to problems I could only see the last few statement entries.

I recently received £50 of M&S vouchers following the trouble natwest had back in June. I was abroad at the time and had been declined for petrol (assumed it was because i was spending a fortune across multiple countries). just rang up to check it wasn't blocked and forgot about it. A few months later i get a written apology and some compensation which was a pleasant surprise.

I can't log into smile (coop), essential maintenance is showing, it was ok at 10.30 this morning.
