Banking question

Bit of an odd place to ask in, but seeing as I rely on you lot so much for other stuff...

Basically, I placed a pre-order for a phone a couple of days ago and the amount was to be held by my bank (Barclays) until release day. I cancelled the order yesterday and I'm now wondering... for how much longer will the amount be held by my bank? :confused:

Looked on Barclays' site without finding much.

Help me OCUK, you're my only hope!

Why dont you ring up the bank and ask them??...they would be able to tell you rather than relying on us here.

Might see if the branch is still open after work.

should free up in 2 to 3 days max, same as a refund on a purchase, to your card
