Just a quick question.

Bro is giving me some cash for a pc build and i wana put it straight in the bank. He couldnt get out yesterday but was thinking of doing it today.

Would the banks be open today?

Did google but not a big search.

Ah right, as i thought then. Guess it will have to wait till next saturday or fri. Also he didnt want to do BT.

Ta for the replies. :)

Banks = operating in the dark ages

Don't open on sundays, takes some sort of miracle for them to do anything on a saturday :(

I've never understood people who don't like bank transfers. Providing you have a working bank account with the sufficient funds, the worst that can go wrong is getting either the bank account number or sort code wrong.

Some people will only deal with bricks and mortar staff.

My mother for instance refuses to use online or telephone banking. She wants to deal with a real live person, not some faceless entity on the other end of a phone, especially with the call management systems that everybody hates.

Use the deposit box

Assuming the very unlikely event he already has an access key to the night deposit box...

OP - if you insist in using cash, do you not have a lunch break you can use to pay the cash in?

I can't believe people need to use a forum for such a simple everyday thing...:(
