Banks, open on sundays?

Just a quick question.

Bro is giving me some cash for a pc build and i wana put it straight in the bank. He couldnt get out yesterday but was thinking of doing it today.

Would the banks be open today?

Don't open on sundays, takes some sort of miracle for them to do anything on a saturday

I've never understood people who don't like bank transfers. Providing you have a working bank account with the sufficient funds, the worst that can go wrong is getting either the bank account number or sort code wrong.

Some people will only deal with bricks and mortar staff.

My mother for instance refuses to use online or telephone banking. She wants to deal with a real live person, not some faceless entity on the other end of a phone, especially with the call management systems that everybody hates.

Some banks let you deposit cash at ATM's, Lloyds have one here, there is a foyer type room next to the bank which is open 24hrs, the ATM's are in there, you use an envelope they provide and put your cash in there in pop it in the machine.
