US: Banshee

This show is awesome! I like the fact it's not to serious about things, like he can just get away with beating up people and there's no big boring investigation afterwards. He's kind of like an 80s action movie star, he can just kick anyone's ass and if he gets beaten up he's healed completely shortly after.

It actually reminds of an anime hero where they can defeat anyone just because they are the main character. There is even a DBZ style training session when he's in solitary to increase his power level before he fights the albino guy (I haven't seen him fight him yet since I was watching on the train, but I assume he crushes him).

It's also OTT how he just bangs loads of random women :D. He has odd eye wrinkles and appears to have a pointy-domed head, so I can't see how he's so successful. Maybe it's the beard.

Unreal fight scene in last nights episode!

Such and excellent programme to watch, and can't wait for next weeks episode already.

Only one query with it all, how does he get away with beating people up so much? Aren't the American Sheriff's all for "protect and serve". Doubt he's going to be in the job much longer anyway after the video got posted online...

Agreed, this is by far my favourite show at the moment. The last few episodes have been particularly good.

I hope this stays on TV for a while, there is nothing that comes close imo. Brings back a bit of 80s TV nostalgia too.

One epsiode left on Sky, really enjoyed this one so far. It's impressive that it's actually managed to maintain a good storyline and a lot of tension despite the copious (and often OTT) amounts of violence and sex. For a show where almost everyone is the bad guy in some way, it does a great job of making you sympathise with certain characters over others.

Plus Lili Simmons is beyond hot, and I was surprised to see Odette Annable as the new Indian Chief's sister, she's awfully pretty also. Last thing I saw her in was Breaking In, and to say that flopped is something of an understatement.

I look forward to seeing how they can progress the brutal violence. They seemed to manage it in the first season, the following episode always seemed to out violence the previous one.

Oh and that's not a complaint, I thought it was a great show, best of 2013.

Banshee (along with Hannibal) were the best shows I watched last year. Really looking forward to season 2, going to be interest how it develops with the kid who think Hood is his father :)
