If Barca were to win the Champion's League this year I think it only fair that the name on the trophy should be followed by an asterisks.

I wholeheartedly agree.

please explain why?

Because they did not get to the final through normal circumstances. Just like when liverpool's "ghost goal" knocked chelsea out a couple of years ago wednesday's game has just gone to show that Chelsea cannot be beaten without the use of cheating or unfair conduct (on the part of both officials and opposition players). This is with the exception, obviously, of Utd who are obviously the best team in the world.

An asterisk is often placed next to a name in record books or on trophies to indicate that it was not achieved through fair means. After Tom Henning Ovrebo submits his report and admits (if he is to keep any integrity) that he 'unintentionally' refereed a biased game against Chelsea I do not see why this would be such a bad idea.

someone get this chelsea fan a tissue.

Just give it up

Man utd gonna win it anyway :D. Hope they overturn fletchers red card for the final.

Fletcher deserves to be banned from football for that challenge, worse than Keane on Haaland, hope Man Utd release him and he has to scurry back to Scotchland with his dirty tail between his cheating legs.

zzzzzzzzz

Only one of them was a penalty, and this cancels out Henry's penalty from the first leg. Deal with it, you lost. (And if you'd attacked when you were a man up, you probably would have won)

Agreed the ref wasn't up to much but it wasn't just Chelsea who were hard done by. Iniesta was kicked up and down the park all night as part of the Chelsea 'tactics' and Essiens tackle was the worst in the game without a shadow. Also a bit strange how no-one mentions the Ballack hand ball for a penalty that wasn't given and the fact that a Barca player was sent off for f-all when Anelka tripped over his own feet!???

Conspiracy my arse...the ref was just gash full stop.

FYI Barca outshot Chelsea...it was shots on target that was the problem!

Chelsea should have won the game...Drog had a gilt edged chance to score but didn't. He was guttted when he was subbed and it boiled over at the end. The guy needs to have a word with himself he's a known diver and his rep is starting to affect referees views on incidents involving him...aww diddums didi get over it and stay on your feet then...

The best footballing side went through and it'll be a better final for it. Its fitting that the winners of the Prem and La Liga are the finalists.

I think you have a right to be bitter. It is time for the football authorities to starting using Video linkage before the game shoots itself in the foot. All the money that circulates through the industry and its down to one man and his whistle. I'm sure Chelsea sponsors won't be to happy about the situation either.. The only way that refs will win back respect, is to provide accurate decisions - no arguements. Over the last 15 years the game has been modernised but the law in which it runs has been pretty much static. It's like riding an R1 on a dirt track.

Time for change.

How does video evidence work in football then? In cricket or Rugby there are natural stopages that allow the use of video evidence, there isn't in football.
