Going for the first time soon. Wondering what the must sees are..anyone got any tips or advice?

Thinking about staying in a hostel but worried i might snore so leaning toward a hotel lol..

Hang on to your bags !!! I know they say its the same for any European cities but i've seen friends having a tug of war with a bag snatching at 9am outside our hotel !

I've been to Barcelona 8 times now and up and down Las Ramblas loads. Never been hasseled or targeted for crime and neither has the missus.

If your sensible, it shouldn't be an issue.

Enjoy, it's a great place.

Agreed. Also if you do venture there, be very careful of your pockets and what is in them, me and my friends had a couple of different people trying to pick pocket us in the space of a few hours there.

went there for the first time last year with the gf who loves the place. stayed out in Sitges, and got the train in every day - it's free! Sitges is a great resort, albeit reknowned for the alternative lifestyle - but that just adds to it. 30 mins or so into Barcelona, have a root around Gaudi's building's and if you can get to the Picasso museum all the better.

I thought it was great and looking forward to going back.

mate im lookin at hostels and ughing at the price of em

even the cheap hostels are like 25 euros a night..

EUR25 x 3 people x 4 nights = me broke
