Woop just found out my gf has booked us a trip to Barcelona for my 21st bday =D just wondering if anyone who has been can reccomend anywhere to go some stuff to do while were there or just anything great about the place :).

I really cant wait :P will be mid november so i guess quite cool so anything to do there this time of year? Woop

If your a football fan, going to Camp Nou is a must!

Other than that, there's the Rambla's (A very long street, lots of shops / street performers when I went).

The Towers of Sagrada are also pretty cool, although I didn't go inside.

If you like football go to the Nou Camp for the stadium tour. The place is impressive. Ah beaten to it, try espanyols ground as well.

Nice thanx for the ideas :) Im not a big footie fan but might still go. Im planning to go for some nice spanish food and bars/clubs with some nice live music would be awesome, is there any places for this kinda stuff at night too?

If you go to the Nou camp don't forget to sit in the worst seat (It's under where the Press sit) -

Barcelona is my favourite city - you will have a great time !

Make sure you visit the port, there are some very nice bars and restaurants around there. I'm not normally one for the tourist bus but there are two "Hop-on, hop-off" buses that go around the city and they are well worth doing..

Mmmm Tapas. :D

Have a great time !

The marina and las ramblas are a must when in Barcelona, also check out La Boqueria for a lively market place. There are some really cool buildings if your into architecture also.

The metro system is really good and its well worth getting a travecard for the duration of your trip. :)

Awesome guys defo going to have to do most of these suggestions besides that bad seat at the Nou camp lol. Thanx loads :)

Watch for pickpockets! Tis a beautiful city though, and you can buy a pass for the bus network and then just hop on and off wherever you want to.

Thanx for the advice il get me a secure fannypack lol

Its a good point. When me and the girlfriend went there for the day we took to tourist bus which you can hop on and off (i think they're orange) it was about 20 euro's for the day but you can get on and off as much as you like. Its a great way to get around the city and goes to all the major attractions.

Went end of Sept this year. Defo head up to the Montjuic on the cable car. Breathtaking views of the whole of Barcelona. The Olympic village is also cool. Got to swim in the Olympic pool too :)

Camp Nou is the obvious choice :),but ther is also some of the best arcitecture you will ever see if you are into that kind of thing

La Ramblas has gone downhill over the last few years.

If you have time get yourself to Monseratt and Sitges, both just outside the city but great day trips.
