Hi,

I am going to be building a new machine, i don't know much about cases but i'm looking for a cheap one, not like £100 on a case because it's mostly going to be old parts and bits but i do want it to look good.

Main colour; black.
Nothing to fancy
Has to have lots of fan spaces, side, top. if poss.

PSU with it would also be good.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Antec would probably be better than that one, could i use the antec and just put my dell PSU, and board in.

I've seen other people do this. As long as it's not a crazy BTX design, and the PSU is standard ATX you should be fine. I'd keep on saving though and get yourself some nice new components when you can.

Yep, :(

I need an upgrade, new motherboard, ram would you recommend really i am looking for a quad or dual core board still single aswell.
With a like 2gig ram - can take.

:)

Set a budget and state clearly what components you need, along with what you have (that you plan to use with the new ones) and we can easily recommend some decent kit from OCUK for you.

Cool,

I need a new case and [PSU, for future builds]
GPU Fan - card gets very hot.
Possibly a better CPU + Board not needed yet for future build though, Current - dell dimension 4400 board.

Hiper Osiris :)

I was concerned about the lack of cable managements, but what's interesting is the see thru side panel has a EMI proof layer on it, which means it's not perfectly clear. As such cabables are actually hidden, and all you see are the main bits of your hardware which are lit up...

I replace the fans that came with it, for the same Hiper spec fans, but with chrome coating with blue LEDs... Looks nice IMHO.

NOTE: It looks like they've revised the case as the side release clips are black instead of silver, and the text/symbols on the front are now in black instead of white, which I think looks better!

Yeah dremel and Jigsaw are common ones.

Think im steering towards a Jigsaw look s a little more stable can go in circles carnt it?

thanks for all replys

I am loving my Antec 300 Gaming Case at the moment. Looks kinda basic but what it does, it does very well.

Then maybe you could get a Corsair VX450 or something? They had a nice PC Power & Cooling 550W but it recently disappeared :(

It it comes to having a good case and decent PSU, or a decent case and good PSU for £100 in total, then definitely the latter!
