Barracuda 200gb sata making nasty noises

Im having problems with a Seagate drive that I bought from the MM. Everytime I format the drive it emits a really nasty "chink" and "Rattle" sound, none of my other seagates do this so it alarmed me big time!

Speedfan says the smart thing is ok so I downloaded the seagate windows tools and that passes the drive fine (I only did a quick test tho)
Im thinking about rma'ing it but im worried if this problem was caused by the postey throwing it about would they just void it and return it back?... Should I just rma it anyway and see what happens?

what colour is the glue on the bottom of the Drive? Pink or a whitey colour?

Its white m8, Is it linked to what motor it has?

Yep... White Glued Motors = Horribly loud

Run an advanced test, ASAP.

It could well be that you've fired it up, and used it aggresively from the word go. Sometimes I find it's best to give harddrives a good 5 minutes or so from cold, so they can warm up.

Thing is I havent even managed to get data on it let alone use it aggresively.
Im still getting the odd chink/scrape noise aswell.
