Received a 500GB model for xmas and have not been able to get it to work The bios detects the drive as ST_M13FQBL and appears in device manager and disk management as the same with 3.86GB capacity. I get an I/O error when attempting to initialise it.
I've tried a different power connector, a different SATA cable a different port/controller and a different computer and still get the same results. Is there anything else i should try before i open up an RMA for it? (since it came from OCUK, would the RMA be with them or would I need to go to seagate direct)
