My 4 or 5 month year old kitten/cat barry has gone missing :(

Last time i saw him he was attacking my finger while i was trying to get to sleep.

I was only told tonight around 10:30 that he hadnt been seen all day.(I sleped through the day)

Thats 2 Hours after i get home from work aswell!!!

Ive driven around the block since then and walked up the road looking for him but i never saw him.
We dont have any dry Cat food left to shake to see if he comes to that either.

Do any of you lot know any other ways to make him come home or to find him? :(

This is him

Tomoorow im planning on walking around the block in the mornin g and down along the river and if i still dont find him ill call the pound

For a second there, I thought you was reffering to Barry Scott!

Sorry about your cat....Hope he comes home. :)

Aww, what a cute cat. Hope you find him. When I used to have a cat, she went missing for 4-5 days once. We found her up a lampost in a nearby street. Its only when we put up a ladder to get her down, that she decided that she could climb down on her own.

You let a 4 month old kitten out on it's own? I wouldn't do that.

Hope it turns up soon. :(

Hes closer to 5 months i think, could even be 6 months. But hesgetting quite big and hes normaly only out the back.
Hes not allowed out the front.
Hes not alone usually, hes usualy out there with him mum, his Granma, my sisters cat or our big ginger one is out there some where.

I just hope he did jump into the neibours yard, They ahve rottys and they have hounded the local cats and People when they get out, The guy accross the road came at one with an axe to save his cat from them once so if he went over the fence i hate to think what happend:eek:

:o crocs got him (sorry jk lol)

Hope he comes home.

When your cat was younger he left for about a week and we found some woman had taken him in up the street lol :o but i being a kid then though the woman had tried to steal him and hated her forever :p

Shaking bags of cat food (esp it's favourite), calling it's name (or a special whistle) has usually worked for us.
Ours have gone into peoples garages/sheds quite a lot so it's worth wandering as close as possible calling cat's name so that you can hear it if it responds. Ask neighbours if they've seen it & get them to check garage / shed.
This is worth doing as we found that we could hear ours inside someones shed, and they then told us that the next time the shed would have been opened was se7en days later when the gardener came again

Gutted for you mate. As said above, I've had cats that dissapear for days, then wander in like nothings wrong.

Hope it turns out okay mate.

Paul
