Also try making some leaflets too and post them around your neighborhood. On the leaflets, ask people to check sheds, garages and green houses, since cats can venture in and get shut in. My cat Tim went out once and got shut in a garage for 3 days. He was fine, but he left the garage owner a 'present'. It was only when he saw this leaflet that he checked his garage, so its worth doing.

I grew up with 5 cats 2 dogs and whatever else my nutty mother wanted to home. Tom cats do bowl off to go riding and are missing for days, sometimes weeks. They also have two homes they visit for food and fuss, fingers crossed he is out making babys with some hot she-cat and he'll be home when he is spent.

I was sure he would come home as my Cat has done this a few times (so I know how upsetting it can be waiting ,thinking the worst).. Hopefully he,s just a bit lost or out clubbing in Cat land and will find his way home..Good luck I hope you find him :)

I thought this this thread was about barry scott so I was like YAY :p

Best of luck and I hope your cat returns fine and dandy.

good luck

I agree with this mate. Theres a statistic that says something like 90% of missing cats are found within half a mile of home, or something similiar. I've not got a source before anyone asks, but thats what I read a while ago.

Hope you find him mate!

Paul

I really hope you find him. I went through this very same thing a few years ago but with a tragic end result. But at least I knew.

COME HOME BARRY!!!!

Might not be much consolation but one of our cats once went missing for a week. Turned up one night after we had given up hope, and was more concerned about getting a big feed rather than any affection. Some cats regularly go off wandering for a few days.

It's really awful the first time these youngsters go out and don't come back. I'm sure that he'll be back soon, but the waiting really makes you anxious. It is worth while asking people to check their sheds and garages. I did this the first time our ginger tom went missing and (I will never know if it was a coincidence) he came back that evening.
