Bars of soap - What's your favourite brand?

Tar Soap. (It was orange and my gran used it)

Probably Wrights Coal Tar Soap. That was the de facto standard for ages, going back to Victorian times.

I use Dove. It works and I know I'm not allergic to it. I'm a delicate princess when it comes to stuff on my skin, so I strongly tend to stick to the same stuff. My allergies won't kill me, but it's not fun to have my skin swell up, crack and fall off so I try to avoid that. So Dove soap for hand-washing and Sanex shower gel.

anything for washing hands .
shower : Oliver .. just have to make sure you don't drop it on your foot (can see why cons put them in socks.) - none of this genZ shower gel.

Same. When you peel off the sticker there's a perfect little square to suction the sliver of the old one on to and let the soap weld together.
I don't like Imperial Leather as it makes my skin dry. I also didn't like it because of the stupid bit of paper - you're meant to peel it off?! Many a time i remember when i did use it all that would be left would be that stupid square sized bit of paper.

IL also seems to drag/stick to your skin when washing. Dove and only Dove for me - just feels and smells nice.

I use a brand called Faith in Nature which I found on amazon as an alternative the the more expensive brands like Dr Squatch.

Weirdly I bought a pack of Dettol soap for the first time yesterday as I wanted a decent anti bacterial soap and I quite like it. It's a bit like washing with a citronella candle but it feels like it gives a good cleanse.

I always find dove leaves too much of a greasiness behind. I like a soap that really stripes all of the oil from my skin.
