I have never been asked this before but wonderd myself

Is it possible to send an email to say 5 people and have it so the people cant see who else it was sent to (the other 4 people) - So it just looks like it was sent to them only

Is this what make private is or something else? Not even sure its possible

(Using Outlook & Exchange 2010)

The above is correct! You will find BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) under CC and anybody copied in via this field will not be visible to the original recipient or copied recipients.

To really confuse them send it to yourself and BCC them in :D

Take it 1 step further, BCC their real address, then into the TO field put <something inappropriate>@<domain>

I've wound some mates up with that, especially if the TO field is a something silly on their work domain

Send 5 seperate emails you lazy git :p

KaHn

Someone did ask before actually, it wasnt for 5 emails, it was sending to 200

In that case I advised just using BCC which they were ok with.

Ignoring them isnt really an option - Working for a large corporate law firm in IT

Then say they're not allowed to know, privacy and all that shizzle.
