Basic, reliable PSU choice.

A friend of mine is looking for a power supply, probably around £50. I've recommended the PC P&C 400W reviewed here. I like the brand and the single rail approach, and how comfortably it remained within spec at 110% rated load.

Are there any others worth considering instead? That is, anything credibly better?

What is his spec?

Maybe one of these if he's not running anything to heavy...

As snips says, what is his current specs and is he likely to upgrade in the near future.
