Batch editing software?

I know it's not entirely photography related, but I figured you guys would be most likely to know.

Are there any pieces of software that can batch HSL adjust .PNG files? I'm using it to change the colours on icon packs, so it would take way too long to individually change every single one. Something like ImageTasks would be great, but when you put a .png with transparency into ImageTasks it automatically puts it over a white background, which, for icons, is undesirable.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ksanti :)

I assume you are running windows?
For these things I will usually do it trough some linux tools like ImageMagick and custom scripts. I don't know of anything that is quite as easy under Windows.

If you are using Mac then I don't know if ImageMagick works or not?

You can set up a macro kind of thing in photoshop. I did it when I was resizing a whole bunch of images.

Could you explain a bit more? Would this mean I still need to open every icon and apply a preset to it? There are hundreds of icons to do so it really needs to be an automated batch program?
