Batch JPEG Resizer

Any recommendations for a decent (freeware) program that could resize about 30GB of JPEGs?

They have all been saved at huge detail levels and when I resize them manually I can reduce the size of the image by about 50% while retaining the detail I need. Far too many to do by hand though.

Get the trial version of Thumbs Plus from http://www.cerious.com/.

If the trial doesn't allow it, get an earlier version (3.30) from the archive. http://www.cerious.com/archive.shtml I know that one does it quite easily.

Tried the MS image resizer powertoy for XP?

Just highlight all the photos you want done, right click set it up and go.
