Batch renaming software - specific requirement

Hi guys

I've got possibly 1000ish photos that I need to scan with Silverfast and name...

Each file has it's own number (obviously) but has to end in an 'F'

E.g. 001F.jpg, 002F.jpg

Silverfast won't let me put a letter at the end of a filename, so I will either have to rename each file by hand

or find some software that will keep all the filenames intact but put an F on the end...

Any suggestions???

Use a batch file utility:

And use a wildcard: *F.jpg

I've actually just found another way to do it in Adobe Bridge which quite surprised as it's a fairly basic renamer.

I'll look into the suggested software though for any tricky files in the future.
