Bathoom suites

We're replacing our lovely avocado suite i.e. new sink & pedestal, taps, bath and panel, shower mixer and taps, toilet and cistern, and since this is the first such project we've done, we're slightly at a loss as to where to get decent quality stuff for not too much money.

We've looked at Sottini stuff from a local merchant and happy obviously choosing something we like, but I've never previously heard of Sottini so I have no idea as to the quality of their gear. I want value for money as we're only going to be in this house for a couple more years so I don't want to go bananas. I'd like to hear people's thoughts on

- decent brands for bathroom suites
- where to look to get the best prices
- experiences you've had with reliability of different brands

Duravit are a top brand for the white ware. Hansgrohe for taps are a top brand as well.
