Looking to get our bathroom re-done and need to get set my expectations for quotes received.

Work list as follows:

Bathroom Floor and wall tiling
Supply Trim, grouts & adhesives
Prepare bathroom floor surfaces & re ply floor
Removal of bathroom, tiles, radiator etc
First fix plumbing & supply of all pipework, traps & wastes (1 bath, 1 sink, 1 toilet)
Plaster all walls & ceiling
first fix electrics & supply materials
Supply & installation of lights & extractor fan
Installation of all bathroom Equipment
Skip hire

What should I realistically be looking to pay out for this work, not including the cost of tiles or bathroom suite.

The room is 2.4m*2.2m with a sizeable built in cupboard for the boiler (and old water tank - removed at time of boiler replacement), so not a huge room in the slightest.

You should mention your in the midlands/down south. Up north you'll get that done for £50 :p

Yeah good point....40 miles north of London, just off junction 13 of the M1.

You jest, I know someone up north who had a full on garage (big enough for the chap to fully valet his car in) with a nice peaked roof and utility room area built for 10k....southern prices :(

I'd say £2000 min ball park figure. Max 3k.

My labour cost £2400 and didn't include any real electrical work. He worked to a high standard so probably pricer than other builders.

This was in North London.

All I can tell you is if you have a spare hour or so you could remove everything yourself and give them a blank canvas to work from. That would save money.
