Ok so there's obviously no gameplay footage and it's hardly surprising that a sequel is on the way but still after the first game surely everyone is interested in even the slightest bit of info regarding this?

Awesome news! Just hope as mentioned above that they take they're time with it and polish it to the degree they did the original. This and Uncharted 2 are my top 2 games of the year - not sure in which order though

Uncharted gets it on the set-pieces but Batman wins hands down for the melee combat magic.

Publisher has changed from Eidos to Warner Bros. Hopefully they will not be impatient and make them rush the sequel.

I thoroughly enjoyed the demo, but I've forgotten all about it despite the regular glowing praise of it. I'll pick up the original after Xmas and won't be so forgetful about the sequel if it's equally as good.

As has been mentioned previously I just hope they dont rush this sequel out, even though the trailer and website are now up I personally dont want to even hear about a release date that has been set till at least this time next year

If they take their time and bring it out in 2 years time or so they could easily eclipse the brilliance of the first

AFAIK WB:IE were involved on Batman: AA too - guess with the success they are happy to publish it themselves this time around...

The title implies it is still set in Arkham Asylum, or has the setting been changed, for the sequel.

With the trailer including joker and quinn I hope they don't use the same people again as the first one, joker is ok because of his long standing relationship with batman, as well as scarecrow for the fear gas stuff but maybe some mad hatter or maybe firefly

I think there'll be lots of new characters - there were a lot of bios that you got in the first game but the characters were not really seen (if at all).
