Batman rebooting again

This strikes me as a bit odd. Can you really consider it a reboot if it's right after the most recent film?

The reboot is so they can fit Batman into the Justice Leage movie, apparently Nolan's current Batman wouldn't work.

Dont see why it wouldnt, looks like a pointless exercise to reinvent Batman again when with some tweaking it could work easily.

Seems Hollywood is ok with the idea of making a series of films and then rebooting it before the seats in the cinema are even cold.

Might be better to give the series to another director, keep the continuity, and change the cast.

I guess that makes sense, surprised Nolan is involved again though I thought after The Dark Knight Rises Nolan was done with Batman?

I would assume if they want it to link in with the JLA movie it's going to be more Iron Man like which after seeing Nolan's dark portrayal of the character I'm not sure I'm going to enjoy :/

Very original of Hollywood. I like the Keaton Batmans and I like the last two Batmans and look forward to the third, but any reboot should be around ten years away in my view.

Same with SpiderMan I don't think that should be rebooted yet. What's the point in seeing these films if in a couple of years we get 'treated' to reboot after reboot.

It seems "reboot" is the new buzz word in Hollywood, although it only seems to happen with sci-fi/comic material.

Only a matter of time before it happens to all the mainstream movies, remakes of The Godfather or Goodfellas anyone? *sigh*

Did someone mention a Justice League movie? I seriously need to keep up with these things :/

To the internets!

[Edit] Hmm, nothing really concrete yet.

When The LA Times interviewed new Warner Brothers president Jeff Robinov they speculated on the future of DC Comics' properties and believed a new Justice League film was in the works, they stated following the 2011 launch of the Green Lantern film Warner Brothers are "to release new Batman and Superman films in 2012 and Justice League, a teaming of DC's top heroes, in 2013."

Also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Brave_bold_28.jpg - I've got a copy of that. Maybe when the movie hype kicks off it will actually be worth something :D I doubt it - none of the 2,000+ comics I amassed when I was younger every really picked up in value :(
