I dunno, maybe the ones I have are not low self discharge, they are Energiser 2300mah/2450mah rechargable, to be fair they are a good few years old now.

learn something new everyday here.I was not aware that you can get 1.5v rechargeable batteriesLithium rechargeable sort this issue out. They don't work well with the battery indicators though as they give a flat 1.5V until almost empty.

Been using Eneloops for absolutely years on everything, right down to my Tado Trvs. My smoke alarms are the only thing that use 9v AA’s as I don’t think eneloops are available in that form…it’s been ages since I looked.I run everything on eneloop rechargables, yes they cost a lot more to buy but you can recharge them 100's of times and its much better for the enviroment.
