Anyone have experience with these?

I need a lawnmower and am probably going to go with a self propelled petrol one but am semi interested in getting a battery powered one - there seem to be a few around now.

I have about 5000ft2/500m2 of lawn to cut though so would need something big with reasonable battery life. Do battery powered ones even last that long?

Saw some get reviewed on a gadget programme, recommended from mid range to top end. The cheap ones were OK, but did lack in most areas.

We have recently brought the Makita mower for £354 to replace a dying petrol mower
Its a great bit of kit only use it on about 300m2 but its rated up to 950m2
Good cut and very powerful. Its not self propelled but it isn't needed as its so lightweight. Takes less than an hour to charge too with the included fast charger. Compared to most petrol mowers the bed is quite small though so it could take longer to cut on a large lawn so that might be a consideration.
Main reason we purchased it was because my dad (a plumber) uses all the Makita power tools with the same battery

Anyone have experience with these?
Love my cordless mower which I bought back in April 2014 :):):)
This one I bought came with 2 battery's included

But I only have three very small lawns to cut which I can normally do all three on one battery..

I also have this bosch 36v cordless hedge cutter that uses the same battery's as the mower.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-AHS-5...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
And there also a bosch 36v cordless strimmer that uses the same battery's http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-ART-3..._UL160_SR105,160_&refRID=0PH0N2FXB4PEPEXM6M5B
