Battle Royale II - Requiem

Compared to the first it is a complete let down, I am a huge fan of the original BR and this one got turned off half way through when I had the DVD :/

Saw the UK premier of it at the London Film Festival a few years back. I thought it was absolute rubbish and not worth the time of day. Shame seeing as BR I is amazing.

it's not that suprising though really. i mean we all know 99% of sequels suck.

off the top of my head i can't think of any Japanese movies which are an exception to that rule. though i'm sure some will argue that the horror sequels were not too bad.
