Battle Royale Remake

i loved it. so there.

:p

well, I said it was rubbish before you said you loved it. history determines that I'm right so ner!

I didn't know it was a remake til this thread - I just didn't like it. The whole film seemed to meander along, and all ended suddenly. It also seemed to be fully aware of the fact that it was going to do well.

also I don't like Matt Damon. a lot.

I'm glad someone else thinks this, I thought it was hugely over-rated.

i only watched it because of the huge bumming it gets across the internet

i would have turned it off but something inside me kept telling me it might get better.....that something inside me was very very wrong

wasn't one good thing about it

acting was bad
story was bad and prety much a copy
fight scenes ... bad
effects bad

everything was bad ! why do people even like it ???

the only thing it has going for it is that its "different" , shame its not different in a good way

they will remake any films with a good "underground" following , and god knows why because the fans of the original will just spend months slagging off the new version on message boards

whats next ? a donnie darko remake ? ( i did actually like that mind)

it's not just him. check this out:

the departed was rubbish. it sucked. wasted 2 hours of my life.

+1. Just didn't work for me.

He also confirmed that active development on Vertigo's remake of the Asian revenge pic Oldboy

This only came out in 2003. More remakes

Not really.
A copy of what?
They were portraying school children... you expect them to do backflips?
Again, not really.

just thought it was more cheesy than extreme cheddar and find it unbearable to watch at some times ,IMO

what do you find good about the film ?

im always told "its just good" or " its an amazing film" i stupidly went and watched it without asking why they thought it was good

I thought the Departed was an amazing film, one of few to actually keep me on the edge of my seat, with all the twists and turns.

I also thought Battle Royale was a bit over-rated, but then again im not a fan of japanese films as it is
