Hey,

I've been playing some Battlefield 1 lately and I've noticed that I can only actually play for about 40 mins to an hour until the game starts stuttering badly. I've checked my task manager etc and MSI Afterburner and my GPU is only using roughly 70-80%, CPU is running fine too however my RAM seems to be 100% a lot. I've got 8GB of RAM, but I know of others who can run it fine. Any ideas?

What resolution? 8GB would be fine for 1080p, but not much higher on ultra I'd imagine. And when you say it's not much better at lower settings, what are we talking about? Less stuttering or longer time until stutter?

I get occasional freezes for a second or so but am running with just 6GB of RAM so I suppose it is expected. When I check my RAM usage using MSI Afterburner it tends to freeze when it gets close to the 6GB used, after the freeze it drops back to 5GB or so. It's annoying.

I'm hoping to grab another 8GB to remove the issue.

this is exactly what happens to me aswell, ive chcked temps and seem fine.:(

What GPU's all with issues? Specifically, vram.

It sounds like a memory leak, but after a while, it would become unplayable, not minor stutters.

I'm using the MSI GTX 1070 Quick Silver with 8GB of VRAM. The stutters start small and get increasingly worse to the point that it's just one constant huge stutter.
