Platoons are a battlelog thing. Battlelog doesn't exist for BF1..

I'm not even sure if BF1 has an option of clan tags..

At the moment it looks like DICE have successfully released a game which is supposed to encourage teamwork and squad play, and then listened to all the BF4 lone wolf casuals who moaned about getting stomped all the time by high level players from a platoon who were working together. Like they are supposed to...

Could be, so far thats 90% of what I want to be able to control. Now if they just announce that the admins will be able to kick/ban , thats the last part of what I'd want and I'll certainly get the £120 server option

I'm sure there was the option to turn off heroes in them.

I am mate, yes! Will be around most of Saturday as well...once I've got my car sorted! Could call in sick tomorrow

Nah don't take Fri off, you'll need the trial hours for Friday evening and Sat. The 10 hours will probably work out as about 6 hours of actual play, 1 hour spent in menus and 3 hours mysteriously unaccounted for from what Sidewinder and I saw with the trial timer. Also it forces you to play the the single player first (Well the first chapter anyway) before you can play multiplayer.

i think theres issues with Fps and dx12 i cant get the console command to display the fps i have had to use afterburner but thats on DX11

No display will work in DX12 atm, even "perfoverlay.drawfps 1" disappears when you re spawn. Having to use bandicam to just get fps to work.

The MSI Afterburner and RivatunerStatistics overlay works in dx12.

1) You can play any of the origin vault games you don't already own that month
2) You get a 10% discount on any game, so if you do decide to buy BF1 after the trial you would save about the price of that month's origin access if you buy the base version (from them) or more if you fancy the ultimate.

And if you hate the game after 10 hours you don't have to buy it..

To be fair, it's unlikely that I'll dislike the game but I'll see how I get on. Will get the download going tonight and hopefully get some time in over the next few days.
