*** Battlefield 1 ***

TBH I often find it easier to see enemies on night maps, the contrast between bloom and shadow when you are suppressed in day maps is insane.

Have they messed with how tanks are accessed lately? Used to be you could click on one, configure it and deploy without any issues. Now it seems a lot of the time when you're configuring it and then go to deploy someone else has already snagged it ahead of you. So why let me get to the options for it in the first place?

Pretty sure they changed that months ago!

Not impressed with the new night map. It's just a case of running round in circles.

and you wonder why EA get pounded for bad patches and no testing

July's map is much better IMO. It has a central flags and flags in a circle around it, but the urban setting seems much better and it doesn't suffer too much from route channeling.

Played this quite a bit recently and while it has its moments it still doesnt keep me playing as much as bf3/4 did..
hate to say it but im actually looking forward to the upcoming call of duty game

Peer to peer crap, 1 guy hosting who will have a bit of an advantage over others.

ah, well thats a shame.. they did that before didnt they? i remember playing one of them on the xbox 360 and everytime the host left the whole thing pauses until it finds a new one..
might just be a deal-breaker then.. thanks for the heads up

Been the same way on pc for the last several cod releases iirc.

Plenty of hackers doing the rounds now in this game, had a few games tonight with some guy running about with an mg just racking up ludicrous kill streaks, well over 100 kills at one point, even getting kills from over half a maps length with no bother.

Seems to be par for the course with online gaming these days..after many many years of online gaming being my primary genre, this year I have dropped it in favour of co-op gaming with friends. All the fun, none of the exploits/hacks/drama/keyboardwarriors
