*** Battlefield 1 ***

And on that note I have just put my pre order in :D good little fun game nothing like the old battlefield games I loved so much :-(

already seen the ronku crew saying there fine as they are.so they will probably stay op.

Levelcap thinks vehicles are OP.

Xfactor thinks they are fine and I agree with him.

Levelcap is an average infy player at best and he mostly plays dom/TDM so I would take what he thinks about vehicles to infy balance with a pinch of salt...

No idea what the other youtubers are saying as they are even ****ter at these games.

At the end of the day, if people don't like vehicles, there are plenty of other good games for infy only play or if you must play BF, then there are plenty of game modes to suit those who don't like being killed by vehicles.

I hated vehicle to infy balance on bf 3 so I only played CQ maps for the majority of time.

i think we going the wrong way :p

I'm not entirely sure BF should aim for the e sports scene, however that's not to say I think it should be a game that requires no practice or skill.

Most successful e sports games seem to be limited to teams of about 5 players, and the games that do well have a fairly simple premise with a high skill ceiling. BF has too many classes and vehicles for a small team to do it justice. Conquest for instance makes little or no sense for servers less than at least 32 players (preferably 48-64), and why would you chose BF TDM over any other FPS with a TDM option.

BF needs to primarily be fun, but it needs depth, it needs to encourage teamwork, and have a moderate to high skill ceiling.

So far I see a skinned SWBF which would IMO be a disaster, but I've not had the chance to play yet.

Most of the ESL matches I've seen have always been 5v5 conquest small maps. I find them enjoyable to watch as players have great skill and you can always pick up tips from them.
