*** Battlefield 1 ***

it is annoying.so basically those who dont sub into the monthly system end up playing fully ranked up unlocked players one day one.

So they've essentially delayed the release date 5 days to make more money :s

This will save me money I was only going to buy the deluxe edition to play 3 days early at £65, I'll now pay £54 to play 5 days early. Yup I'm a sucker for BF games.

Edit: Forgot 10% off so £49 to play 5 days early.

It does

But don't expect it to be anything more than a few tacked on story missions. If you're buying this for the campaign, you're going to be sorely disappointed, as with any battlefield game really

Battlefield is really an MP game.

I've been out of the loop on PC games for years but have a bit of a hankering to play another decent WW1/2 game... aside from this have there been any others released in the last 10 years with a decent single player / campaign mode?

COD 5 (WAW)?

Battlefield 1 isn't a WW1 game.

Its just battlefield1942 with some of the theme changed. It will be a great battlefield game no doubt, but its not really a WW1 game.

If you want WW1 you need Verdun. But its multiplayer only.

I think the deluxe just gives you a handful of extra skins and a few days early access. . I think what they are doing is getting the most ££ from people now without offering premium so they can then hit them up with premium after launch. Maybe they are getting sales on the deluxe with people thinking they are getting all the map packs. Or maybe I'm being cynical and all the packs will be free to all!!!

The Early Enlister Deluxe Edition Includes:

Early Access on October 18th. Hit the ground first with Early Enlister Early Access, which lets you play the full game early on October 18th.

The Hellfighter Pack. Fight like hell and give no ground with the Hellfighter Pack. Inspired by The Harlem Hellfighters, the first African-American infantry unit and one of the toughest of the Great War, this pack contains themed items based on their heroic deeds.

The Red Baron Pack. Take to the skies with the Red Baron Pack, crammed with items inspired by the famous fighter pilot, the flying ace of the German air force.

The Lawrence of Arabia Pack. See another side of the war with the Lawrence of Arabia Pack. Grab items and weapons based on the adventures of the famous archaeologist and diplomat who played a pivotal role in the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire.

3x vehicle skins. Make sure your enemies know who's coming for them with skins on three of the largest vehicles in the game.

5x Battlepacks. Prepare for battle with five additional Battlepacks, stuffed full of all the gear you need to hold your ground in an all-out war.

It cost me 799 rand which at the time was £36, which is still cheap for an Origin game and their refund policy is pretty generous compared with places like Steam.

they want the sales big units so it will be around £30 at every key site.dont need to rush guys.its a big game.

beta should be soon now.
