*** Battlefield 1 ***

Was actually shocked last night when I played, I tend to play BF games almost exclusively as a medic, so I spend most of my time (and often my deaths) running out to revive people rather than charging forward guns blazing.

Yesterday I decided to try an evening of Assault play instead and I can honestly see what everyone is saying about medics not reviving. I never noticed it when I played as a medic but I can literally count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I was revived last night. I always made sure to leave off pressing the space bar to give medics the most time to get to me but 9 times out of 10 it just never happened.

Maybe they can make it so that reviving someone gives you 5000 points or something stupid as an incentive to bother reviving , speaking as a medic player I am shamed that so many medics seem to be using their class as a glorified self healing assaulter rather than a squad medic.
 
Are medals working on this? I go online and see a medal that's been on there for 2 weeks and it hasn't progressed even though I've been doing the tasks. Then I get a set of new medals to do and the next round back to the old ones that are stuck.

Yeah I have the same issue. If I'm playing TDM, sometimes the TDM medals appear, and sometimes it flicks to the domination ones for some odd reason.

I'm the opposite. I can't stand working towards the unlocks - it drives me insane.

I really want to play with the LVL10 assault gun as it looks great - but at this rate it's going to take me months to unlock it.

I paid for the full game, I should be able to use whatever weapon I want and not be at a disadvantage with the weapon I'm using just because I haven't been able to waste as much of my life unlocking new guns as someone else.

I agree with the weapon skins though - these battlepacks are completely pointless... at least in BF4 they gave you new scopes and other extras for weapons before you had unlocked them yourself. These battlepacks are completely pointless, they do nothing :S

Yeah, that's a bit silly... it could just be an option on the base weapon rather than having a huge list with so many repeats of practically the same weapon.
 
Really love the standard medic gun. I can't honestly see a point in even upgrading my weapons as the basic one is just so good. I play medic most of the time and liberally drop medic packs, but I prefer to carry the grenade launcher instead of the syringe.

Not played much of the other classes but I liked the Lawrence of Arabia rifle!

Anyone else who wants to play as a squad can too... I give orders when I'm leader, I drop medpacks and revive when I'm a medic, I drop supply crates when I'm support... I rarely play as sniper at the moment, but tend to steal tanks... oh, and I'm pretty good too, usually ending up very close to the top of a server if not top :p

Maybe need to build some squads with those who want to play like that... like me... the number of medics who don't drop med packs, support who don't drop ammo, even when you're in their face asking for it... people who just won't play as a team even though it's in their interest... squad leaders who won't give orders... it's rather frustrating.

Try the Selbstlader M1916 Sharpshooter or better still the Autoloading 8 Extended. :)

Starred is lady parts sweary with a k... I got reported for that name to EA... I even had that original willy wonka image with his big cheesy grin as my profile pic... that was my fav :)
