bf1942 has wide screen support, so does bf2, i run 1600x1050
well i admit you do have to add the command to the shortcut but it can do it.

In an interview with developers which was posted on Total BF2, they still aren't interested in true widescreen support for BF2 or 2142.
This tells me the game will still be based on the bloated and buggy BF2 game engine
which cannot have Widescreen support developed for becasue they can't be bothered to spend more than an hour fiddling with it.
In this day and age you'd expect a modern gaming product to support the very highest spec available. I still love BF2 but the publishers (EA) are a pain in the royal anus. I swear they keep things buggy and featureless to make gamers anticipate the next patch like its going to drastically improve their life in 24 hours. Why don't they just start selling Slim Fast or something?!
I'll probably enjoy the game. Its the first game I've joined a clan for etc and i have a lot of friends who play, but I hope they really make it PC and user friendly this time.
