Hi Guys

I guess I don't really need to do much introduction for this product.

the long awaited second expansion to BF3 - this is designed to change the entire game dynamic of BF3 and turn the whole game into a confined, claustrophobic battle.

With pre orders shipping before release date to ensure you get your expansion pack the day of release, OcUK have your back.

Battlefield 3 - Close Quarters Expansion Pack - PC @ £10.99 inc VAT

Battlefield 3: Close Quarters is a themed expansion pack bringing the team play of Battlefield 3 to tight indoor environments. The frantic close quarters infantry combat showcases the wide spectrum of battles that only Battlefield 3 can deliver, from huge open environments to intimate indoor gunplay. Battlefield 3: Close Quarters is amplified by unprecedented high definition destruction, new ways to play, added persistence, and new weapons including the ACW-R carbine, the M417 sniper rifle, the L86LSW machine gun and the M5K tactical machine pistol.

The HD Destruction in Battlefield 3: Close Quarters lets players riddle the environment with bullets, reducing entire locales to ruin. Everything from furniture to plaster can be shot to pieces, and players can see the result of the mayhem as rubble and broken pieces pile up on the floor. The tight level design and many opportunities for vertical game play create a highly competitive environment.

Battlefield 3: Close Quarters key features
• Get plunged into frantic and relentless infantry combat on 4 new maps
• HD Destruction lets you reduce entire locales to ruin
• Complete 10 new Assignments and equip 5 unique dog tags
• Earn 10 new weapons and bring them back to the base game including:

Wish they would incorporate Battlefield 1942/2 AI bots !

Still haven't played BF3 or CODMW3 yet got that many games to play with Steam sales partly to blame.

USAS12 and Noobtube - BF3 has lost the plot, everyone will buy it anyway though.

there will doubtless be servers only playing the levels with restrictions that allow play to be balanced.

the fact is, if you cant avoid getting tubed or shotgunned, you need more practice :D

RRp - £13... Shame on you EA... :(... That's more than half of what I paid for the LE edition of the game.

rrp is not OcUK price ;)

the games only been out since october and this is the second set of dlc :p

nice one ea - keep milking that cash cow :p

in honesty, I am happy to pay the money. its the only game I really play at the moment and you get more VFM than you do with most other major title DLCs

I still don't have Back to Karkand, was on sale for £4.99 but I only purchased BF3 at that time, now want to try- does it worth £12 or will it be on sale?

Also looking forward to Close Quarters, however want to see some reviews first!

It will be immense. For all my bleating about the small maps when BF3 came out they are by far the most fun. I pretty much only play Metro / Siene / Bazaar on hardcore.

More of the same please, though I will likely get the big pre-bundle thing and pay up front for all future DLC. :D

I'm going to wait for Battlefield Premium, should be better value. ;)

 Metro, Siene, Bazaar on hardcore. CoD mode engaged.

I have too! It's just depressing that it's even possible to have that opinion. i.e. the "big" maps aren't really big with clustered flags and stupid vehicles.

Bioware, owned by EA, release their multiplayer expansions for free.

I don't see why this would be any different, but oh well. Money money and all that.
