I wonder how my 9800gx2 will perform :S
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
On another note for those that were saying 2Gb VRAM was more than enough for BF3 at 1920x1200, according to MSI afterburner my VRAM usage peaked at ~3200mb while playing, any never went below ~2400mb except in the round end screens![]()
Could the crazy Vram figures quoted by people with Xfire or 6990's be the combined Vram use of each card? eg. in the case of L33's 6990 3.2Gb usage is in fact 1.2Gb per card?
Since 2.2.0 Beta 7When did MSI Afterburner start showing VRAM usage for AMD cards?![]()
LOL I wonder how it would play on my 1280 x 960 (I know its only till I can afford to buy a new one) with a 460.
New drivers will make me happy, I got a 560Ti GTX Oc a few weeks back and it's a very capable card for the money.
The new drivers (might be old news to some) increase performance in Battlefield 3 by 11%.

I aim to buy a 24" 1080p monitor and buy another 560Ti GTX Oc for SLI...

Havent seen less than 70FPS with all settings on ultra and 4xAA.
That said, I am getting a horrible stutter in places. Will try rolling back the drivers this evening.
