Battlefield 3 Xbox 360 Controller Question

Not sure if this applies to you. I use a wireless xbox controller and have noticed the controller must be witched on before you launch the game. Doesn't pick it up otherwise.

Just a quick 'hi-jack' question.

Does the XB360 wired console controller (usb connection) work with a PC? Or do I need a specific PC compatible XB360 controller?

Just the USB one will work fine, the wireless receiver is needed just for the wireless pads. Play and charge (dissapointingly) will only charge

Yes, it would be fine.

mine is seen in windows and device manager. But will not work in game at all.

xbox

A= cant remember
B= exit
X= cant remember
Y= change weapon
RB= flair
RT=accelerate
LB= shoot
LT= decelerate
L3=afterburner

TBH its easier to fly with the controller but easier to kill with mouse + keyboard.

I ended up just using KB/Mouse, its not a problem normally but for casual layed back gaming I like been lazy and slow with the controller

Hi I've noticed that the only way it works is by turning it on before launching the game. this is a bit poo because it turns itself off after sometime etc and wastes batteries. Just hoping that it gets full supported eventually
