Battlefield 4 not responding

Hi looking for help/advice.Downloaded bf4 that came with MSI Radeon R9 280x Gaming graphics card. When trying to use the options tab in game, keep getting game has stopped working message. I am using Microsoft windows 8.1 64-bit OS. Not having any problems with other games.

Are you using the Mantle API? Heard people having these issues with the 14.1 beta driver and Mantle. Just a thought.

Disable onboard graphics if using Mantle.

On board graphics disabled, spoke with EA games via online chat, not got anywhere. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. Going round in circles trying to get a fix.

Does it only crash when going into options? Can you get into games?

If so Google "Battelfield Settings Editor" and edit your options there. Saves you having to do it in game.

Might not be a fix but could be a work-around!
