bf4 will launch october 24/25th and it will be on ps4 as its the lead platform.

Rumour is the 29th.

EA / DICE are deliberatlely not mentioning anything about the next gen console variants on the public stage as MS no doubt still has its NDA active over anything to do with the new xbox. Confirming in writing that a game is coming to Microsoft's new platform would breaking the NDA.They could confirm the PS4, but if they did that, everybody would question, well what about the next xbox ?

So EA/DICE are tight lipped for the moment. But that hasn't stopped the information leaking out as rumors. The rumours are that the next gen consoles will support 64 players. Given the power in the next gen consolee, i see no reason why this wouldn't be the case. There are other rumours in that article that may not be true, but I'd be willing to bet money that PS4 and 720 get 64 player multiplayer.

I hope they have a few metro style maps. I tend to just play metro 24/7 servers in conquest mode.

will this be like BF3 ie origin only if so count me out. The amount of times ive tried to play the game and it says file corrupt.

Whereas bad company 2 works fine every time.

Looks good so far but we will see. Commander mode and 5 person squads is great. Better than I expected and that building coming down

Already have thanks. Why should I reply to his pointless comments. Certainly not 'cop out and run'. I had already said the footage was scripted.

If you want to make valid points and discuss them sensibly that's fine as I have no issue with that.

Spectator mode will be very useful to catch those durty hackers and cheaters. I often think that Hardcore makes it easier to cheat as you can't see if you've been shot from the other side of the map or from an impossible position.

I really hope they actually have this in the final release as it will make mine and my fellow admins jobs so much easier.

Same goes for the other features they talked about/showed last night. We will just have to wait and see I guess.

Wonder if they've managed to finally fix the "bad luck" deaths that still are unexplained in BF3 to this day, I guess saying bad luck is their way of saying "wtf happened".
