Know what you mean for sure, the game play isn't as intense as BC2, feels empty in B3, B4. Although B4 gameplay feels better than B3

R7 server update - is worse than ever, great :/
im getting even more memory leaks now
 
Feel totally scammed out of my money for this game tbh with all these issues, it's just not fit for release at all.

Don't think I will ever buy anything EA again :(
 
I've manually updated my DX via the install folder and it installed some stuff and just played for 25 mins without a crash, seems to run a little better too, heres to hoping its sorted it
 
I was pressing V and it was going 0m 200m 400m 600m 800m etc. Yet I tried shooting the wall exactly 200m away with it set to 200m and it hit quite far above it. This was with the M40, I switched to the default bolt action rifle and I was hitting targets consistently again. So I am just going to use the M40 with a CQB scope.

The CM Scout thing looks to be worse according to the stats, a lot of BCB members were using the 330 which is quite far down the unlocks.

I don't think I will ever get the unlocks without buying them in the future; I have unlocked carbines about 4 times but each day they are reset again.
 
Well it was working fine for me there! Although game stopped responding on map loading but I was leaving anyway :p

I have noticed that when it is crap for you lot, it is great for me and when it is crap for me, it is great for you all! :p


Just had the most awesome round on operation locker, very close but the enemy team would have won it in the end since they were holding the flags very well for the last 5-10 mins.

Was quite an awesome moment too, people were camping in the tower so we couldn't get any further, 2 my squad plant c4 on the bottom and take the tower down :D

38,814 points in the end, just imagine if I had used the 200% xp boost! :eek: (too risky to use with the crashes)


Oh and BTW, I won that mission dodger! :D :p Do I get a cookie? :p

If you haven't got a suppressed gun, you show up when you fire, if you do have one, you stay of the mini map

Mini map is probably the most important thing to use, my game play would go to complete and utter **** if I stopped using it!

Had to use my pistol for like 2/5 of that match, went on a nice wee kill streak with the p226, love it! Can't wait to get the magnum :cool:

Just gone 18-10 (amazing for me) in my first game today. Played Siege of Shanghai - no crash obviously but a fair bit of lag. Sprinting seemed like I was running in quicksand.
 
oh great, so they go and try to "fix" the game. today a lot of people Including myself are crashing when they didn't before :( cant get more than 5-10 mins before crashing.

For days I have not crashed aside from the server crashes, and all the bugs like the sound loss bugs
 
Also, actually much preferring the kobra sight still. Thought I would prefer the coyote but you lose sight of the red dot very easily so I'm not as accurate then :(

Same here but I have a 670 and have to pay low to avoid huge frame drops. Still get them but there just playable now.
 
Thought I'd try a game on DICE's test server and guess what? Yes, I had my first error message (bf4.exe crash) since the R6 patch came out. I hope it's not 1 step forward, 2 steps back with this R7 patch. :(

The starter sniper rifle isnt too bad. But im looking forward to unlocking the M40A5. Picked one up of a dead guy the other night, felt like meeting up with an old friend again. Didnt get to use it long though.:D
 
BF4 has some SERIOUS balance issues.

Attack jets are just as fast as stealth jets

Stealth jets main canon does no damage to other air assets...less than the attack jet...makes sense.

AC130 minigun does 0 damage, literally.

Ground based AA is lol-OP.

is there any difference between the two, the stats say they are the same
