Probably same thing happens with other graphic settings, could explain why the majority of us find this game to run better/smoother than bf 3..... BF 4 is a heck of a lot better than bf 3 for me when it comes to FPS/smoothness.

Low= High
Medium = Ultra
High = Medium
Ultra = Low

I don't experience this, for me setting ULTRA gives me the graphics on peoples "Low" setting, ie: it is the right way round. Is this because I haven't fiddled with the graphics and it put me on Ultra by default?

Post patch, all of the servers on battlelogs multiplayer lobby are showing up as 0 players, even with everything unchecked IE allowing australian servers instead of just European ones, just a long list of 0/**. Tried ordering list by player count and still 0/**. Yet the servers in my fav's show up as having players in them.
 
Oh and is there a way to play with the FLIR scopes?

Firstly sometimes i spawn with a normal scope view with a red dot in the middle, no IR, I actually prefer this scope like that, but if i switch guns and back it goes back to FLIR, and I can't figure out how to change it back? It also says 2X is there a way to increase or decrease magnification?
I was using it on the LSAT.

1. Everyone is going to be like I've not seen Ultra Graphics yet. Woo!.
lets set it up!

2. Oh now on ultra I get 30fps.... DICE You broke performance in patches... :D

3. Gamers in the know Buy, Upgrades because they only get 30fps :p

You may laugh, but you know the BL forums (read creche) is going to be full of stuff like that! :D
 
Testing the other settings tonight, but for Terrain Decoration, Medium is Ultra and Low is High (1 bush seperates them in that location).

Low=High.
Medium=Ultra.
High=Medium.
Ultra=Low.
 
I did manage a few games yesterday and it felt good to me, I must be pretty lucky in that I never seem to crash (I've gone and done it now, will be crashing constantly tonight)

I just hate having to avoid certain maps due to the sound drop-outs etc. - It really kills the atmosphere for me. I did notice a possible fix posted a page or so back so might give that a try later.
 
I killed a few snipers across the map with a SRAW yesterday. I did a few swirls too before honing it into their face. Well worth it. :D
 
I've only had one crash this weekend (typically it was whilst in a closely contested ESL match). I have a theory which may well be completely flawed.

Could client crashes (i.e. not server crashes) be caused by the patch version the server is running? Once I had updated the TFU servers to R11 test no one seemed to get client crashes (although the 24/7 prison server did go down once). My crash occurred when playing on a server that had not been updated to the latest patch.
