Good games all! Crashed with that last match though and couldn't get back on, took about 7 retries plus logging on and of on origin & BL.

That paracel storm round was good! Couldn't use the boat at all as had some pro jet on that just took it out in a matter of a few seconds :rolleyes:

Hopefully the patch (due this week I think?) fixes the main issues:

- one shot bug i.e. server or whatever reg. 2 shots when only 1 bullet is fired
- audio problems
- hit reg./netcode
- better stability all round
 
BF4 seems okay. My biggest dislikes are the map size is pretty large. Most firefights are at a slightly longer distance than bf3. I preger closer as my aim is cack and I only have iron sites for most of my guns.

Helicopters are still overpowered. It's pure anti person ell rape. If the pilot got out and fought on foot or any other vehicle they would get only a fraction of the kills they achieve in a chopper. True story.

Big maps lend themselves to death by sniper.
 
Pegasus please use either Angled or Ergo (folded / vert). The Stubby grip only helps auto firing and will kick in after the 11 / 12th shot. If you going trigger down rather than bursting just use LMG's.

Ballistix..Littlebirds are OP with 2 reps but Attack Heli's are the most underpowered vehicle in the game atm. 30 Sec between CM's, TV only does 41 dmg against everything, 300mtr flight ceiling (biggest noob in a jet can kill proper heli team), INfantry are too op against Attack Choppers anmd don't get me started on the AA
 
I tried using ACOG + canted with it but something seemed a bit off dunno if its the whole FOV thing, its not great for placing long range shots anyhow though I do like it for short to medium range.

-Fixed an aircraft IR flares exploit where players could use the flares multiple times before reloading by exiting/re-entering the aircraft
-Fixed an issue with Ranked servers on Xbox One running with a 1% ticket count

I've been trying to get into recon, but I suck at sniping (and therefore feel I'm wasting a slot in any given team), so am never going to unlock the decent bolt-actions (I haven't even got the straight-pull bolt for the first rifle yet!). I can play it with carbines and C4, but I feel less efective than an engineer most of the time.

Assault I get loads of points from (mostly captures, revives and heals) but never feel I'm doing particularly well.

Engineer I repair a load, and now I can double-tap with the IGLA I find air vehicles much less bothersome. If there was an engineer loadout that had an anti-air seeker and something that can deal with ground vehicles, AND a repair tool, that'd be amazing :D

The one class that seems to 'click' so far is Support. M249 with 1x Holo/RDS, 2 x magnifier, heavy barrel and bipod is just such an excellent setup. I can't overstate how crucial the magnifier is though. Partner it with claymores for TDM/Dom and a large ammo pack and you're laughing.

It is an incredibly buggy mess. Just look at this list:

And that doesn't even include the worst problem, which is frequent client and server crashes. I personally have given up on this game until they do a big client patch which fixes everything. It's too frustrating to play at the minute.
 
SO I unlocked the L85 last night and went on Zavod with it and something didn't feel right, like the monitor was too far back, wasn't having any fun at all and couldn't hit anything, genuine user error.

Woke up with manflu this morning but can't take the day off from work so suffering quite a bit, bad diet really.

I do have a question though, you people talk of 200% XP boosts...howcome I am only getting the occasional 25% boost? I have never had higher than this. Could do with a 200% boost right about now as I struggle to get 3k points per round!

I rage about the game but must be enjoying it really, haven't touched Dayz since release and deleted it entirely last night along with Skyrim, freeing up about 80GB of space :)

I know exactly what you mean about Recon....I cant get past unlocking the first Rifle and any of its upgrades, as its so poor and slow and with Iron Sights I feel like im never going to hit anything.

Also, so many people play snipers and just sit on rooftops that i've begun to resent the class, while they cowardly sit on a rooftop picking off people and not doing anything towards the objectives.

Support and Assualt are both my favourite.....M249 with Mag and Bipod is an awesome setup.....but I do love my SCAR with Heavy Barrel for some close up domination! :D
 
I have the most fun on Recon, with a Carbine, C4 and a beacon. Especially in Locker where I can run round to the flag near the enemy spawn, plant a beacon and win the round off just the beacon :D

I think everyone is getting double XP in the next few days for a week or so anyway. Something EA/DICE have done to make amends for the release farce.

Ive added you on BL as well btw mate (I saw you in our TS ages ago but wasn't in there myself, not seen you since though :P)

I should bloody hope so aswell, I've been stuck at level 6 for weeks, Release a game that's not even ready...Cmon!

I'll need to jump on one your guys server, could do with someone to play with when they finally fix it.
