This is almost comedy now. It is just 1 single expansion pack, that will be eventually be part of the whole set but not all dlc will be included.
Wishful thinking  or is there any basis to think otherwise

then made it part of the premium so I felt like I was buying it twice! I love EA!
They should have made it giftable like steam do

everything i have read seems to point at it being the first dlc much in the same way that the karkand pre order was in bf3 pre orders.

but i will of course update with the official word from EA when they get back to me

still waiting :o

depends most retailers will get some kind of deal with selling this game. so some will offer different dlc or offers with the game.

thats from a ea person not two hrs ago.

I expect it will be. This is still a good price for pre-order.

Added pre-order info to the BF4 thread.

Preorder = EEEVIL :)

If you pay them for something that is not ready, you get used them to beg for (anything) more, if game will be ready.. while it should be free :)

I want it but it looks more like a mod for bf3 more than a new game the same as point of existence 2 was a mod for bf2 this is just a usa v's china mod for bf3 :(

Will wait to play the beta and see if im proven wrong. They had better fix all (or at least most) of the bugs in bf3 than transfer them to bf4. Having the commander back is something im interested in seeing again though.

Received my copy yesterday and installed it .................. But it doesn't look like I have the Promised "Pre-order to receive a Battlefield 4™ Premium Expansion Pack"

Can someone confirm that it has it and I wont have to pay the £39.99 Origin are asking for.

You get 'China Rising' (a 'Premium Expansion Pack') not a Premium Subscription, may retailers confused the matter with their wording.

Basically, buy BF4 - you can play all normal maps. You can then choose to purchase the Premium Expansion packs individually when they are released. China Rising is included with a lot of pre-orders, so you'll get it for 'free'.

OR, you can purchase Battlefield 4 Premium (for £39.99 on Origin), in addition to the BF4 purchase, which will enable you to download and play each Expansion pack a few days early and you won't have to pay for each individually (kinda like a pre-purchase at a hefty discount).

There were 5 Expansions to BF3, the same number for BF4. They cost £11.99 or something individually (can't remember or find exact price).

  • Battlefield 3: Aftermath
  • Battlefield 3: Armored Kill
  • Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand
  • Battlefield 3: Close Quarters
  • Battlefield 3: End Game

  • Battlefield 4: China Rising
  • Battlefield 4: Dragon's Teeth
  • Battlefield 4: Final Stand
  • Battlefield 4: Naval Strike
  • Battlefield 4: Second Assault

Thanks for the info Roady

I think I might hold back on any pre orders in future as most of my friends paid £5 less by buying a key on-line a day or two earlier than launch (still including China Rising) and had it earlier than me as mine didn't arrive until tea time via DPD.....

In the past when I have pre ordered from an any on-line retailers the game has generally been with me the day before launch, but not this time!

I haven't felt, seen or experienced any benefit from pre ordering and prepaying (£69.98 2 copies) for this back in April.

Oh well you live and learn.....

PS still love Overclockers though ;-)
