Interesting that we're now back to the mad dash for a vehicle, the last few games it was spam an icon on a map with clicks to get into it.

Does Delta Force scratch the Battlefield itch? Can’t quite find the will to go back to 2042

Nah, Delta Force just feels like more of a copy of Call of Duty's Ground War rather than a Battlefield replacement. Fun for a few games a week but no more than that, for me personally.

Much better going this route for the sprint/dash to the vehicle - a few people I played with on 2042 had keybind macros set up to basically ensure they always got certain vehicles when they were available...

It's definitely worse in free-to-play titles with poor anti-cheat systems.

And the only reason Valorant can deal with it so well is because their anti-cheat is some of the most intrusive kernel level anti-cheat that exists out there.

Some games are better than others at dealing with it. I actually found 2042 was pretty good at being active with bans (although it could have been that there was only about 5,000 of us playing the game so not exactly hard to spot the guy going 430-1 in the hovercraft).

It's really good, I like it and play daily. The maps are much better than 2042. However I find the hit reg terrible - One of those where you unload a full clip in someone's back and they turn round and one shot you, so can be quite frustrating. Not played the extraction mode as I'm not interested but it does seem to be popular. The new campaign is co-op. Definitely worth it for a free game
