Is be happy with a BF2 remaster.
The article makes many good points, and I can't imagine having studios in time zones as much as six or seven hours time difference away is conducive to efficient working. And then starting up a studio from zero and expecting efficient and good output within six months when some recruitment for senior or important positions like programmers or artists might take that long itself is beyond even the biggest expectation.![]()
What’s wrong with AAA games? The development of the next Battlefield has answers.
EA insiders describe stress and setbacks in a project that’s too big to fail.arstechnica.com
Doesn't sound promising if true.
Little annoyed I've not had a play test invite, Completed the the form early days. Even answered the email survey they sent out and have all the BF games in my account. Guess they didn't like the answers to the survey![]()
Can't see it coming out this year. The article is a bad read

EA is reportedly betting the farm on a Battlefield 6 battle royale mode modeled after Call of Duty: Warzone
Launching a new battle royale in 2025 is a huge risk no matter how you slice it.www.pcgamer.com
Here we go...
Firestorm was good to be fair! It was just locked behind having to own BFV so most people interested in BR games weren't going to pay for the full title to access it, and most usual Battlefield playes preferred the traditional modes.I never once even tried to play Firestorm in BF5, so I doubt I will play BR in BF6 (I don't play Warzone either).
An extraction mode would at least be better than BR (although they tried that in 2042 and that also failed), but I think Delta Force pretty much has that covered at present
Dragon Age flopped
Now this?
Why doesn't EA listen to it's customers, rather than its shareholders![]()
It's about having a f2p spin off as a vehicle for selling cosmeticsBattle royal genre like extraction shooter genre needs to just disappear for awhile sick of games trying it when the fans of the franchise just don’t want it
