It wasn't that bad overall especially by the time they released the pacific war content, but the immersion was killed by all the woke content.
Can you elaborate please? What "Woke content"?

Battlefield 2142, 3, 4, Bad Company 2, Battlefield 1 - there you go

From what I remember there were a couple of female characters but no black, female marines storming any beaches?Black female marines storming the beaches of Iwo Jima isn't exactly historically accurate.

It was full of female characters, you could even select female for the Japanese army which is completely absurd. You couldn't play for more than a few minutes without hearing a female character shouting medic which was completely immersion breaking.

Cheating became an industry and totally ruined every online game there is.Probably already cheat code out there for it...
And to please everyone you end up pleasing no one dead game!Immersion breaking? Grow up - its a video game - why shouldn't women be able to select characters that reflect themselves in games? The days of the industry being pale, male and stale and long gone; its not the 1990's any longer where all a game had to do was feature someone with a polygonal breasts to be a seller; the world has moved on.
There were dozens if not hundreds of female spies and members of the resistance. It wasn’t an exclusively men’s war, far from it.The trailer including the ginger woman with the prosthetic arm was a fairly egregious example.
More of a symptom of the series decline than a cause imo.
As is so common with this phenomenon the usage of such elements is often quite lazy and inaccurate.
For example the Nowegian campaign, which shoehorned a woman into an actual historic event.
If DICE had wanted to tell an story about a heroic woman, in combat, in WW2 they could have chosen a more accurate example (maybe a French resistance fighter or Russian front where women saw frontline service in the Red army?)
Rather than re writing who did what.
Good games make a choice.... you can have a 're imagining' of a wider setting like WW2 with fantasy elements but if your depicting particular, more discreet events, with known parties involved it's probably a good idea not to change too much beyond that which is required only to make the enjoyable to customers.

I think you're making it up pal, or dreamt it. Funny how people bandy the word "Woke" about. Anyway people play games not trailers.
The next Battlefield is described as a “tremendous live service” game
