Battlefield: Bad Company - Xbox 360 Multiplayer Beta Announced

do you only get the tags and stuff in the ranked match's ? i havent joined any yet. hopefully il get saterday to play it now.

Yeah just joined a Ranked match and got about 5 in 3 minutes. I didn't get any when playing unranked the first time round.

For those using the CD, is the load up really choppy for you? It's all over the place on mine.

This game is annoying me. I can't be assed to go through it now but I hope they take on board the results from this beta and fix the problems for the final game.

The lag and time delay is my main issue atm. When you've killed someone it wont tell you till like a second later, which is not good enough, I want to know instantly so I can move on to the next. Weapon changes are slow and the controls are a joke, frags are all over the place, you don't know whether you've thrown them or not.

Lot's of other things but as I said I can't be assed to go through it at 3 in the morning.

Id like to know who is using the CD and who isnt.. ive experienced none of this choppyness or animation lag rubbish.. i get my guns instantly and my kills are as any other game would be.

My beta is on my xbox not a CD.. it appears that whoever got the beta onto a disc may have shot bad company in the foot because its very playable when downloaded.

Well I'm bored of this already. It really is just BF2:MC with more glitches, and while being liek BF2 is not a bad thing I want something new.

My mate gets similar issues and he's on the official Beta. It's just the opening video that's different on the disc.

Thanks for comments on the video guys.

How did you go about recording that out of interest?

I use a stand-alone DVD recorder in conjunction with a VGA to TV converter, that way I can play in HD and record at the same time.

Although if you want to get fancy, you can get a HD component capture card below which will give you 1280x720p video, you'll need a fast PC though to capture it.

Thought hdmi was a secure coonection with that handshake that was meant to stop recording hi def sources, to stop pirating hi def sources.

Yes you can't record HDMI from the 360, but that card will do HD component which isn't protected on the 360 and quality is just as good.

He means a hdmi to dvi cable like one of these:

hdmi-dvi%5B3%5D.jpg

They are widely available and arn't that much more than nornal dvi or hdmi cables, 10 to 20 quid is about right for one from e-tailors.

EDIT:

I think he means one of these:

They are also widely available but cost a bit less than the above cable.

Those are simply cables.

We're talking about removing the HDCP from the digital signal.

Here's the device by Spatz (no longer sold) that did it.
