I wonder if you have space for someone who's been gaming and OC for about 15 years LOL?

BF2 BF3 (4 pending), just about to get into Arma, obviously had all the CoD range.

What's BF4 looking like atm? Anyone been in the beta?

Is it worth splashing out on or should I just wait until you all give up on it again and go play DayZ SA? :D

Haha, we never gave up on it man. Was still played until BF4 Beta came out. Think after we won the comps and stopped ESL people slowly drifted... the joys of modern gaming!

But yeah, get it and jump back on TS man!
 
So BF4 is now sort of with us! If anyone needs any help setting up their VPN to play now, by all means jump on and ask us... However we might be tad busy playing.

Our new servers, which eventually will change to ESL rules / Inf only small conquest.

I'll be hopping on this weekend if I get a chance, still waiting for my key from CJS Keys so no point worrying about VPNing anything. Sunday will probably be my chance to get on for a bit.

Jumped on with TFU last night and what a game. The game is silky smooth, beautiful maps and a well organised clan :)

Well optimised over the beta, well worth it.
 
Might be interested in this, its been a while since I've been in a nicely organised clan. However, I'm pretty much totally new to the FPS world, previously played the Starcraft Series' from BW upwards. Always been a bit of an RTS fanboy though, maybe time to try something new!

Do you guys accept absolute newbies to the genre? ^^

Also how on earth does this pricing structure work for BF4? what ever happened to pay X amount of money and you get the game!
 
Indie I would just get the standard package + preorder china maps pack at CJS Keys, that seems to be the best and cheapest place to get it right now.

Most people will have the china maps pack so not paying the couple of quid extra for it would mean there'd be a lot of servers you wouldn't be able to play on.

I just got my key this morning so going to set it downloading tonight. Won't get a chance to play it til tomorrow at the earliest though.

Thank you man! Not been able to have a good blast on this myself as of yet, the wife is currently on maternity meaning no days off gaming, followed by screaming kids in the night… Sadface. Oh well… Roll on BF13 haha, might have more time to play.

Honestly we have no skill requirement otherwise I’d be out, we’re more for just having a laugh. FPS is the way forward!

EA cash cow milking is the reason for so many different prices. All you really need in BF4+china rising.

Yeah I wasn't gona do the VPN, but wife went out, so jumped on the VPN like there was no tomorrow!
