Hey guys,

Been a while since i been on the overclocking scene

i purchased a battlefield system 1year+ ago

it is i5 overclocked to 4.4ghz
4gb ram
and 2 x 7970

i am now wanting to switch the ram to this once it is in stock

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-033-TG&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517

i contacted overclockers to ask if my overclock would remain the same at 4.4ghz and they said it wouldnt and it would be best to ask you guys

what settings do i need to change in the bios?

thanks in advance

As far as I am aware changing the RAM capacity/speed can affect overclock stability, so you will need to retune it.

I would imagine changing RAM from 4GB to 8GB wont have a massive affect so you could save your BIOs profile (to save all your overclock settings etc) and reload it after you have installed the RAM. If your overclock is unstable, one click of the "+"button of the Vcore should make it ok. But if you need to do that you should have a look around at the 2500k overclocking guides:)
