right just tried using daemon tools to mount the cd to the HD because im getting bored of having to swap discs all the time and now when i try to play bf2 (with the mount and also with the origional CD) is says something along the lines "this server doesnt allow modified version of BF2, revert your copy back and try again"

huh?! how did this happen :( ? kinda annoyed so any idea, i unmounted the drive and tried restarting, i really dont fancy reinstalling it so any ideas?
 
... the patch has been held back until they can include an update that prevents all the 'PID Spoofing' and server crashing .... and tbh this is whats needed more than anything
