How do I watch this? As with all sci-fi shows it appears to be awash with multiple versions of tv shows, multiple films and many specials. What should I watch first at at what points during the main tv show should I watch the movies and specials?

I wouldnt worry about the offcuts. Watch the miniseries the main series first, then if you want more go after the others in whatever order you like.

That blog is the order I watched it in and it works very well.

Thanks for the second. Can you clarify what he means when he says muting Razor 10mins before the end. Does that mean I should watch the last 10 minutes but just not listen to it?

Er... Read the blog?

I will try not to spoil anything with these instructions, so pay attention. You need to press MUTE on your TV (and/or turn off any subtitles) in the following two moments. Both of these moments occur in the last 10 minutes of the story, so you can relax and enjoy the first 90 mins before you need to worry.

Press MUTE when:

1. The hybrid touches Shaw. (You can unmute as soon as the hybrid lets go.)

and shortly afterwards:

2. When Red One contacts Pegasus. (You will literally hear the dialogue, "This is Red One come in" and see Pegasus respond -- mute before Red One can give their message to Pegasus.) You can unmute when you see Red One on your screen -- actually before that, but there's no other visual clue I can give you.

I reccomend watching caprica after 4.10 Revelations and before episode 11 in season 4 - while caprica itself isn't overly great if you watch it at this point it gives a lot more depth to the last half of the last season - and you understand caprica better than if you watch it at the start. I know this might seem a bit odd but caprica sort of shows some potential deeper implications/different perspectives behind some of the stuff in the closing part of the last season that IMO really enhances it even tho it was never intended that way.

I love how on these sort of TV shows (and even films do it) when they go into battlestations all the main lights turn off and then the strobes come out, it must make working under pressure harder than ever!

I watched BSG on release and for some reason let it fall off 3 episodes in to the 4th season, i do not know why as i loved the show but i just did not get it finished which is very very rare for me.

tonight i finished my first rewatch and i have to say i loved it as much as my first, the only difference is this time i had an ending i had never seen, suspense and action i reached for and plots i followed instead of observed; Finally, and i feel ashamed to say this, I brought to close a series i love with one of the best closures to a show i know of period. The way the show is wrapped is unreal, phenomenal closure to a phenomenal show, the sense the the story is fulfilled is only surpassed by the questions it asks that you do not mind are not answered... i have to say some of the best writing spawned from the best show i have ever watched.

Just thought i would share
